Pee Wee Football comes up short in Conference Finals
Updated: 11/04/2009 at 12:14 PM
Congratulations
to our Pee Wee football team on a fantastic regular season. They battled
hard on Sunday but came up short, 6-0, against the unbeaten Kenilworth
Bears in the Raritan Valley Conference Pee Wee Championship at Middlesex’s Cook
Field. That’s the least amount of points Kenilworth has scored this
season as the Bulldog defense came up big and almost pulled out the
victory. The coaches and players should be very proud of themselves on a
great season and great effort yesterday. As the RVC runner-up, our Pee
Wee boys will continue on in the Garden State Games. First round action takes place at 11:30am against Hopewell Valley at Somerville High School. Congratulations
again to Coach Owens and his staff and all the Pee Wee football players and good luck in the Garden State games.
