MPW is proud of our three 2008 Academic All-American Scholars
Updated: 10/14/2009 at 4:19 PM
Each year, the most academically accomplished Pop Warner kids compete for Academic All-American status. This process begins at the local level and continues up through each of the eight Pop Warner regions to the national level. the PWLS All-American Program requires a minimum of 96% grade point average to apply for All-American status. After the applications have been processed, Pop Warner National determines National First Team All-Americans (35 football, 25 cheer per grade), National Second Team All-Americans and National Honorable Mention Scholars.
Recognition as a Pop Warner All-American Scholar is quite an accomplishment. The scholars listed below are among the top 1% of all Pop Warner participants nationwide. This honor commemorates their achievements on the field, in the classroom and in the community. Metuchen Pop Warner congratulates our 2008 Academic All-Americans, David Laureta, Tyler Valovcin, and Katelyn Williams. We're very proud of you!
