In the Raritan Valley Conference, the Metuchen teams went 3-for-3 in the opening round of the playoffs.

The Midgets defeated Manville 40-12 as Anthony Cimalluca threw for 195 yards and two touchdowns, both to Tim Tyrell. Paul McDuffie, Erroll Lindo, Bryan Perragallo and Kevin Sullivan ran for over 300 yards on the ground, each also scoring once.

Metuchen's Junior Pee Wees defeated Middlesex 15-0 on a 5-yard TD run by Milik McCullough late in the game that was set up by a 60 yard run by David Parnell. Tyler Valovcin scored the game's first touchdown on a 65-yard drive to open the game.

The Metuchen Pee Wees dominated Middlesex 25-6 in their first-round game behind the defense of Nick Ravano. Andre Corvil scored twice and Jordon Jimerson and Aaron Lewis also scored.
